Do you provide a pre-admission appraisal for a prospective resident?

Prior to admission, the prospective resident and his/her responsible person, if any, shall be interviewed by the facility administrator. The appraisal shall include an evaluation of the prospective resident’s functional capabilities, mental condition and an evaluation of social factors.

Do you provide care for terminally ill residents?

We are licensed to retain terminally ill residents who receive hospice services from a Hospice Agency.

Do you provide care for residents with dementia?

We are licensed to retain and accept residents with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia.

Do you honor a DO NOT RESUSCITATE ORDER?

We permit and honor DNR orders in the facility. We keep the DNR order in the residents file and we give a copy of this order to the responding emergency medical personnel and identify the resident as the person to whom the order refers.

Do you provide respite care?

We provide respite care for residents who need our help and support.

What is your staffing ratio?

We provide a ratio of 3 residents for each staff member. All staff members have criminal background clearance and are trained in hospice and dementia care, and first aid.

Do you provide activities for the residents?

Exercise and activities are provided for our residents on a daily basis.

Do you handle resident’s personal valuables and cash resources?

No. Their family handles all valuables and cash resources.

Do you provide night supervision?

Yes.

How often do you give each resident a bath?

All of our residents are given a shower everyday.

Do you cover the cost for diapers, under pads and supplements?

No.

Do you provide higher level of care to residents?

Yes. We can handle various levels of care for our clients.

How much do you charge for a private and shared room?

We offer reasonable prices in our area. Give us a call for a quote. Prices vary depending on the level of care and all fees are privately funded.

How much clothing should a resident bring?

We suggest that the family bring a month’s worth of clothing. Except for dry cleaning, we provide laundry services in the facility.
